How To Do Calligraphy: The Easy Way

As a part of my social media class I made a tutorial on calligraphy using supplies everyone already has. Modern calligraphy is a big trend and it is something I really enjoy, my hope with this video was to take the fear of art away. So grab a pencil, paper, eraser and pen. Get to work and tag me in your creations!

    I actually saw your video on Facebook and watched it there before I watched it in class! I think you did a great job and the whole video is just adorable and well done! I've always wondered how to do calligraphy, so I'm glad you chose to do your video on this topic. This is a very informative video and explains a lot! Thanks!

Have you ever thought about how much lettuce you have eaten over the course of your life? As of yesterday I can say I have. In fact I became so interested in the answer that I came up with a way to figure out your (approximate) lettuce count. Here is what I did. First I found out what the serving size of lettuce is. Since there are so many different kinds I decided to use romaine since it is a good middle ground between iceberg and dark greens and I have eaten a variety. It turns out that a serving size is two cups. There are six cups of torn romaine in one head, and there are about 10 leaves per head. This means that a serving size is actually 1.66 leaves. I approximated that one leaf is broken up into seven pieces, so there are about 23.33 pieces of lettuce per entree salad. Or 11.66 pieces in a side salad. Now for the less complicated part. My Pinterest Problem

Often times I picture my future self-walking into a support group and saying: Hello, my name is Emily and I’m addicted to Pinterest . I’m serious. As a person who loves to create, it is literally my kryptonite when I have free time. I can spend hours looking at DIY’s, recipes, drawing inspiration, workouts I’ll never do, and everything else you can think of. But today I’ve been pondering if my “problem” is actually a problem, and I’ll tell you my reasons for why I think it’s really not. First of all, Pinterest has saved me a ton of money.
